Walters back for third season in Utah

West Valley City, Utah – Utah Grizzlies Head Coach/General Manager Tim Branham announced that the team has re-signed forward Ryan Walters.

The Grizzlies are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Colorado Avalanche and the American Hockey League's Colorado Eagles.

Walters was the Grizzlies leading scorer last season. He returns for his third season with Utah after having served as a captain in the ECHL for the past two seasons. The Rosemount, Minnesota native had 63 points (29g-34a) in 63 games last year with Utah.

The 27-year-old led the Grizzlies with 18 multi-point games and the Grizzlies were 14-5-5 when he scored a goal. Walters has 233 points (103g-130a) in 251 career ECHL games with Utah, Rapid City and Alaska.
