Stingrays agree to terms with Gould

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Washington Capitals and American Hockey League’s Hershey Bears, have agreed to terms with forward Gavin Gould for the 2022-23 season.Gould suited up for 28 games last season, splitting his rookie campaign with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits and Allen Americans. The 26-year-old posted 29 points (10g-19a) between the two clubs and represented the Americans at the 2022 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Classic in Jacksonville.The native of North Vancouver, British Columbia was acquired by the Stingrays on June 13 as the future considerations portion of a trade that sent Colby McAuley to Allen last season. Prior to turning pro, Gould played college hockey at Michigan Tech and Bowling Green State University, accumulating 77 points (36g-41a) in 132 games from 2016-21.
