Stevens returns to Rush

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Rush, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Calgary Flames, announced that defenseman Alex Stevens has been signed to a contract for the 2022-23 season.

Stevens appeared in a combined 25 games in 2021-22, split between the Wheeling Nailers, the Norfolk Admirals and the Rush. He recorded five points (2g-3a) during what was his first season as a pro. In five games for Rapid City, he had one assist, six penalty minutes and a +1 rating.

Prior to turning pro, Stevens played four seasons at Penn State University where he recorded 17 points (3g-14a) in 79 career games.
