Giannuzzi inks deal with Grizzlies

West Valley City, Utah – The Utah Grizzlies have signed goaltender Dante Giannuzzi for the 2023-24 season.

Giannuzzi played with the Western Hockey League’s Portland Winterhawks f from 2018-23. He also appeared in games with the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Winnipeg Blues and Steinbach Pistons in the 2019-20 season.

Giannuzzi played in 41 games with the Winterhawks last season, going 23-13-3 with two shutouts, a 3.37 goals-against average and an .894 save percentage. Over the course of his career, Giannuzzi went 59-32-10 record along with a 3.07 goals-against average, .896 save percentage and five shutouts.
