Stingrays bring back Klimek

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Washington Capitals and American Hockey League's Hershey Bears, announced that the club has signed defenseman Jordan Klimek to a contract for the 2024-25 season.

Klimek, 29, returns to the Stingrays for a second stint with the team after spending the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons with South Carolina. In 70 career games for South Carolina, Klimek has registered 18 points (9g-9a).

A native of Langley, British Columbia, Klimek most recently played for the Guildford Flames in the Elite Ice Hockey League, tallying 15 points (4g-11a) in 53 games.
