TROIS-RIVIÈRES, Quebec – The Trois-Rivières Lions defeated the Toledo Walleye 3-1 in Game 4 of the 2025 Kelly Cup Finals on Friday in front of a standing-room only crowd of 4,640 fans at Colisée Vidéotron. With the win, the Lions take a 3 games to 1 lead in the series.

For the fourth consecutive game, and the 18th time in its 20 postseason contests, Trois-Rivières scored first. Jacob Paquette gathered in a pass from Alex Beaucage at the blue line, skated to the top of the left-wing circle and beat Jan Bednar for his first goal of the playoffs 7:32 into the second period.
Toledo pulled even at 17:12 when Brandon Hawkins redirected a Tyler Spezia shot past Luke Cavallin for his sixth postseason goal.
The Lions regained the lead 10:45 into the third period when Vincent Sevigny’s long-range shot from the left point eluded Bednar’s reach for his second goal of the playoffs.
Logan Nijhoff added an empty-net tally at 19:41 to set the final score.
