Hansen-Bukata inks deal with Grizzlies

West Valley City, Utah – The Utah Grizzlies have signed defenseman Aiden Hansen-Bukata for the 2025-26 season.

Last season, Hansen-Bukata tallied 31 points (2g-29a) with a +11 rating in 38 games at Ohio State University. He made one appearance for the American Hockey League’s Syracuse Crunch, making his professional debut on April 19, 2025 vs Utica.

Hansen-Bukata played at the Rochester Institute of Technology for four seasons from 2020-24, posting 78 points (9g-69a) in 132 games. He led the Tigers in plus-minus for the 2023-24 season at +23 and was selected as Atlantic Hockey’s Best Defenseman during the 2022-23 season.
