KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that forward Quinn Preston has signed a contract for the 2025-26 season.

Preston, 27, was originally acquired via trade from Wichita on March 5, 2024. He played 16 regular-season games with Kalamazoo to close the 2023-24 campaign, recording 10 points (3g-7a) and re-signed last offseason before delivering a strong 2024-25 season for the K-Wings.

In 63 games played in 2024-25, Preston tallied 38 points (13g-25a). He was named the Warrior/ECHL Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 26, which included notching the K-Wings' first five-assist game in almost 20 seasons versus Bloomington.

The fourth-year pro has totaled 128 points (44g-84a) in 167 career ECHL games with Toledo, Wichita and Kalamazoo while adding three points (2g-1a) in four games during the 2024 Kelly Cup Playoffs.

Before turning pro, Preston played four seasons at Ohio State University from 2018-22, posting 72 points (33g-39a) in 127 games while serving as an alternate captain during his final two seasons.
