Knight Monsters add Leblanc

STATELINE, Nev. – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vegas Golden Knights and the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights, announced that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Olivier Leblanc for the 2025-26 season.   

Leblanc, 29, joins Knight Monsters after spending last season overseas with the Fife Flyers of the Elite Ice Hockey League. Leblanc served as the team’s captain and totaled nine assists with 68 penalty minutes in 44 games played. The year prior, he recorded nine assists in 38 games with Angers in France. 

During his career, Leblanc has collected 16 points (2g-14a) in 68 career ECHL games split in stints with the Kalamazoo Wings and Florida Everblades. In addition, Leblanc brings 35 games of AHL experience to Tahoe’s roster during his time with the Cleveland Monsters and Belleville Senators from 2020-23.   

Leblanc had a productive major junior career in the Quebec Maritines Junior Hockey League totaling 164 points (33g-131a) in 291 appearances split between the Saint John Sea Dogs and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles from 2012-17.
