Wichita signs Miller

WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks and American Hockey League's San Jose Barracuda, announced the signing of forward Erik Miller for the 2025-26 season. 

Miller, 26, played his rookie season in Belgium with Chiefs Leuven (CEHL). A native of Sherwood Park, Alberta, he tallied 59 points (26g-33a) in 32 games. 

Prior to going overseas, he played four seasons at Red Polytechnic, which is a part of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference. Miller helped the Kings to back-to-back ACAC titles in 2022-23 and 2023-24. Overall, he tallied 65 points (18g-47a) in 61 games. 

Miller played five years of junior hockey split between the Western Hockey League and Alberta Junior Hockey League. His best year came in 2019-20 with the Camrose Kodiaks. Miller piled up 69 points (21g-48a) in 56 games.
