Americans re-sign Anania

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Ottawa Senators, announced that the team signed defenseman Andre Anania for the 2026-2027 season.

Anania had a career high in points last year in his second season of professional hockey, tallying 42 points (6g-36a) in 66 games. He also appeared in one game last year with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

The native of Richmond Hill, Ontario played three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Sudbury Wolves, where he averaged just over 36 points per season over the final two years of junior hockey.
