JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Icemen, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Minnesota Wild and the American Hockey League’s Iowa Wild, announced that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Jack Babbage for the 2026-27 season.
Babbage, 25, joined the Icemen late in the 2025-26 season, suiting up for six games.
Before starting his professional career, the native of Tully, New York played five seasons of college hockey. Three of those seasons were with the University of New Hampshire while the other two were with Quinnipiac University and St. Lawrence University. Babbage was a member of the Chicago Steel’s 2021 Clark Cup championship team while playing junior hockey in the United States Hockey League.
