DULUTH, Ga. - Forwards Brad Navin and Kenny Brooks have agreed to terms for the upcoming season, the Atlanta Gladiators announced.
The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Boston Bruins and the American Hockey League's Providence Bruins.
Navin returns to the Gladiators after spending the 2014-15 season with the team, appearing in 47 games with Atlanta. The 24-year-old joined the organization after a successful four-year collegiate career with the NCAA’s University of Wisconsin. Drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the seventh round (197th overall) of the 2011 NHL entry draft, the Waupaca, Wisc. native served as team captain during his senior season with the Badgers.
Brooks comes to the Gladiators fresh off a collegiate career with Penn State University. The Las Vegas native registered career highs during his senior season in 2015-16, notching eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points in 38 games. Brooks amassed 48 points (14g-34a) in 120 games with the Nittany Lions.
