ECHL announces fines, suspensions

The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions

Manchester’s Diamond fined, suspended

Manchester’s Joey Diamond has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #873, Manchester at Elmira, on March 24.

Diamond is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 14:25 of the third period.

Diamond will miss Manchester’s games at Elmira tonight (March 25) and tomorrow (March 26).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

Utah’s Cuddemi fined, suspended

Utah’s Ralph Cuddemi has been suspended indefinitely and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #864, Utah at Colorado, on March 24.

Cuddemi was assessed major penalty and game misconduct for boarding under Rule #41.5 at 18:37 of the second period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.

Cuddemi will miss Utah’s game at Colorado tonight (March 25) and any further discipline will be announced next week.
