Adirondack adds McNaughton to blue line

Glens Falls, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils, announced that the team has signed defenseman Jordan McNaughton to a contract for the 2018-19 season.

McNaughton, 24, comes to the Thunder after spending last season playing in France for Marseille. While with the French squad, McNaughton had a very productive season as he totaled 21 points (6g-15a) in 23 games from the blueline.

Before playing professionally, McNaughton played one season at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta. McNaughton tallied 14 points (5g-9a) in 20 games to lead all Cougars defensemen in scoring. The Komoka, Ontario native also played two years with the Truro Bearcats of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League, totaling 152 points (48g-104a) from 125 games while leading the team in scoring his final season.
