West Valley City, Utah – Utah Grizzlies Head Coach/General Manager Tim Branham announced that the team has signed forward Austin Carroll.
The Grizzlies are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Colorado Avalanche and the American Hockey League's Colorado Eagles.
Carroll joins the Grizzlies after spending the last three seasons in the Calgary Flames' organization with their AHL affiliate in Stockton. He was drafted by Calgary in the 2014 NHL Entry draft.
The 24-year-old played in 141 games with Stockton and had 35 points (18g-17a) and 163 penalty minutes.
