NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Washington Capitals and American Hockey League’s Hershey Bears, have agreed to terms with forward Christian Horn for the 2018-19 season.
Horn is set to begin the third season of his professional career and is coming off a season in which he scored 30 points (14g-16a) in 44 games with the Norfolk Admirals.
The Plymouth, Minnesota native has played 66 ECHL games over the last two seasons split between Norfolk and the Rapid City Rush, scoring 39 points (16g-23a). He has also spent time with the Pensacola Ice Flyers, Fayetteville FireAntz and Peoria Rivermen in the Southern Professional Hockey League, accounting for 21 points (7g-14a) in 31 games.
Horn, 25, began his professional career after playing collegiately at St. Lawrence University from 2014-16. He had 26 points (11g-15a) in 62 contests during two seasons.
Horn also previously played with the Tri-City Storm and Sioux Falls Stampede in the United States Hockey League during the 2013-14 season, scoring a total of 47 points (23g-24a) in 50 games split between the two clubs.
