Monarchs re-sign Marcinew

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and General Manager Doug Christiansen announced that the Monarchs have re-signed Matt Marcinew for the 2018-19 season.

The Monarchs are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Los Angeles Kings and the American Hockey League's Ontario Reign.

Marcinew, 24, returns to Manchester having played in 52 games with the Monarchs during the 2017-18 season, racking up 35 points (11g-24a). He also recorded one game in the AHL with the Reign.

The native of Calgary, Alberta spent four years at the University of Denver from 2013-17, and was named alternate captain of the Pioneers for his senior season. During his time at Denver, Marcinew played in 160 games, tallying 64 points (29g-35a).
