Reichert joins Thunder for first pro season

Glens Falls, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced that the team has signed forward Jakob Reichert to a contract for the 2018-19 season.

Reichert comes to the Thunder after skating four seasons in his collegiate career at Bowling Green State University. The 24-year-old compiled 11 points (5g-6a) over the course of his 67-game career. Reichert was named to both the WCHA Scholar Athlete and WCHA All-Academic teams during his tenure with the Falcons.

Prior to playing NCAA Hockey, the Langley, British Columbia native skated two seasons for the Langley Rivermen of the British Columbia Hockey League where he registered 86 points (34g-52a) and 199 penalty minutes in 124 career games.
