Jacksonville, Fla. – The Jacksonville Icemen, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Winnipeg Jets and American Hockey League's Manitoba Moose, announced the signing of rookie forwards Colton Veloso and Jake Randolph for the 2018-19 season.
Veloso joined the Icemen late last season, skating in the final four games, following the culmination of his juniors career. Prior to turning pro, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native, spent several years in the Western Hockey League where he most recently played for the Kootenay Ice, notching 47 points (25g-22a) in 71 games.
Randolph also joins the Icemen as a rookie, having played in 11 games with the Worcester Railers last season, following a collegiate career at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. The native of Duluth, Minnesota tallied 26 points (7g-19a) in his final season at Nebraska-Omaha, and chipped in with three assists in his time with the Railers.
