Glens Falls, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils, announced that the team has signed forward Matt Salhany to a contract for the 2018-19 season.

Salhany, 25, comes to the Thunder after spending last season splitting time between the Reading Royals and South Carolina Stingrays. The Warwick, Rhode Island native has skated in 28 games in his ECHL career, posting four points (2g-2a).

Before turning to professional hockey, Salhany skated four years at the Unversity of Alabama-Huntsville. He compiled 43 points (17g-26a) over the course of his Chargers career, while captaining the team during his senior season.
