The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines and suspensions resulting from ECHL Game #638, Kalamazoo at Kansas City, on Feb. 9.
Kansas City’s David Dziurzynski has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as the result of unpenalized kneeing infraction at 7:58 of the second period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.
Dziurzynski will miss Kansas City’s games vs. Tulsa (Feb. 13) and at Utah (Feb. 15).
Kalamazoo’s Colin Jacobs has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his game misconduct under Rule #75.5 at 7:58 of the second period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.
Jacobs will miss Kalamazoo’s games vs. Fort Wayne (Feb. 14) and vs. Adirondack (Feb. 16).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
