Cyclones move on to Central Division Finals

The Cincinnati Cyclones defeated the Kalamazoo Wings 4-0 on Tuesday at U.S. Bank Arena in Game 6 of the Central Division Semifinals to advance to the second round of the 2019 Kelly Cup Playoffs presented by SmileDirectClub.

Cincinnati will take on Toledo in the Central Division Finals.

Justin Vaive scored a pair of goals in Tuesday's win for the Cyclones while Michael Houser turned aside all 29 shots he faced to record the shutout.

Jesse Schultz, the ECHL Most Valuable Player for the 2018-19 season, led Cincinnati in the series with three goals while Houser went 4-2 with a 2.03 goals-against average and a .934 save percentage.

The K-Wings were led by Reid Gardiner's five points (1g-4a).
