Steelheads advance to Mountain Division Finals

The Idaho Steelheads moved on to the Mountain Division Finals on Saturday with a 2-1 overtime win at Utah in Game 5 of their Mountain Division Semifinals series. The four overtime games in the series tied the ECHL postseason record for most overtime games in one series (2015 Eastern Conference Finals - South Carolina vs. Toledo and 1993 First Round - Hampton Roads vs. Raleigh).

The Steelheads await the winner of the Kansas City/Tulsa series in the next round. Kansas City leads that series 3 games to 2 with Game 6 set for Tuesday in Tulsa.

Henrik Samuelsson led Idaho in the series with four goals and five points.

The Grizzlies were led by Tim McGauley's four goals and Josh Dickinson's five points.
