Americans add veteran forward Hedden

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans announcef the signing of forward Mike Hedden to a contract for the 2019-20 season.

Hedden joins Allen after spending the last several seasons in Europe, most recently with the Cardiff Devils of the Elite Ice Hockey League, where he had 62 points (20g-42a) in 59 games last season.

He has played 123 games in the ECHL, all with the Toledo Walleye. In the 2010-11 season, he had 52 points (32g-20a) in 57 games and was tied for sixth in the league in goals.

The native of Dunnville, Ontario, played his college hockey with Neumann College from 2006-09. During his time with Neumann, he racked up 163 points in 108 games and finished second on the team in scoring in three of his four seasons.
