TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Oilers, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s St. Louis Blues, announced the signing of defenseman Cam Knight.
Knight, 24, joins the Oilers after making his professional debut with the Fort Wayne Komets at the end of the 2018-19 season. The Reading, Massachusetts native played college hockey at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, registering 45 points (6g-39a) in 131 games for the Chargers, leading all UAH defensemen with 19 points during the 2016-17 season.
Knight played one season in the North American Hockey League before attending the University of Alabama-Hunstville, compiling 33 points (9g-24a) in 60 games and earning NAHL All-Rookie First Team and NAHL All-South Division Rookie Team honors.
