Parisi agrees to terms with Stingrays

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. -The South Carolina Stingrays, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Washington Capitals and American Hockey League’s Hershey Bears, have agreed to terms with defenseman Tom Parisi for the 2019-20 season.

During his professional career, Parisi has played 121 AHL games in the Montreal Canadians organization with the Laval Rocket and St. John’s IceCaps.

Parisi earned 17 points (4g-13a) with Laval in 2017-18 and posted nine points (1g-8a) in 45 contests as a member of St. John’s in 2016-17. After seeing time in 71 AHL contests with Laval in 2017-18, Parisi decided not to play professionally during the 2018-19 season.Prior to turning pro, Parisi appeared in 144 career games at Providence College from 2012-16 producing 55 points (12g-43a) while captuing the National Championship in 2015 and serving as team captain during the 2015-16 season.
