Sabourin makes NHL debut

Former Manchester Monarchs forward Scott Sabourin is the 663rd former ECHL player to reach the NHL. Sabourin scored a goal and recorded three sbots on goal in his debut for the Ottawa Senators in a 5-3 loss at Toronto on Wednesday, October 2.

Sabourin, who is the first former ECHL player to debut during the 2019-20 season, had two penalty minutes in three games with the Monarchs during the 2015-16 season.

The 27-year-old has recorded 77 points (37g-40a) in 308 career games in the American Hockey League with Manchester, Iowa, Ontario and San Diego.
