West Valley City, Utah – The Utah Grizzlies, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Colorado Avalanche, have signed forward Jared Pike for the 2020-21 season.
Pike, a native of Sandy, Utah, played at American International College for the past four seasons where he tallied 45 points (29g-16a).
He was awarded the 2020 Derek Hines Unsung Hero Award, given annually to the NCAA Division I player judged to best exemplify the qualities of sportsmanship, competitiveness, intelligence and work ethic.
Prior to his college days, he spent two seasons in the North American Hockey League with the Bismarck Bobcats, recording 71 points (36g-35a).
