Durocher back with Americans

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, announced the signing of forward Corey Durocher to a contract for the 2020-21 season.

Durocher began last season with the Kansas City Mavericks, posting two assists in six games, before recording 23 points (9g-14a) in 44 games with Allen. He has skated in 144 career ECHL games with Allen, Kansas City, Idaho and Brampton, totaling 87 points (37g-50a). His best season as a pro came in 2018-19 with Kansas City when he had 36 points (18g-18a) in 39 games.

Selected by the Florida Panthers in the sixth round (153rd overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Durocher played four seasons at Carleton University from 2013-17 and also skated for three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with Kingston and Soo from 2009-12.
