Adirondack inks rookie forward French

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced that forward Josh French has signed a contract for the 2020-21 season.

French joins the Thunder following a four-year career at Minnesota State University-Mankato where he recorded 37 points (14g-24a) in 149 games. The Woodbury, Minnesota native was a part of three Western Collegiate Hockey Association regular-season championship teams and one postseason championship team in 2018-19.

Before his collegiate hockey days, French skated for the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League where he totaled 75 points (26g-49a) in 116 games while serving as an alternate captain during his final season.
