Fuel sign rookie Leiter

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indy Fuel, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Chicago Blackhawks and the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs announced that they have signed forward Colton Leiter to a contract for the 2020-21 season

Leiter signs with Indy after finishing his collegiate carer with the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Skating in 137 games over four seasons with the Nanooks, the 24-year-old earned 63 points (28g-35a) 146 penalty minutes.

Prior to his college career, the native of Edmonton, Alberta played three years for the Spruce Grove Saints in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Appearing in 139 games with Spruce Grove, Leiter put together 86 points (37g-49a), helping the team to back to back AJHL championships in 2014 and 2015.
