Haden agrees to terms with Rush

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Rush, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Arizona Coyotes, announced that rookie forward Gary Haden has signed his first professional contract with the Rush for the 2020-21 season.

Haden joins the Rush following the completion of his Western Hockey League career with the Victoria Royals in 2019-20 earning 55 points (25g-30a) in 62 games.

A native of Airdrie, Alberta, Haden amassed 170 points (80g-90a) in 232 career WHL games with Victoria, Saskatoon and Medicine Hat. His best season was in the 2018-19 campaign with the Medicine Hat and Saskatoon, achieving career-highs in every statistical category with 31 goals, 32 assists 62 points, and a +23 rating.
