Jaeckle re-signs with Adirondack

Jaeckle re-signs with Adirondack

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced that defenseman Alex Jaecklehas been signed to a contract for the 2020-21 season.

Jaeckle was acquired by Adirondack from the Norfolk Admirals in January as part of a three-team trade. Last season, the 25-year-old appeared in 21 games for the Thunder and 33 games with the Admirals. 

Prior to playing at the professional level, Jaeckle skated for four seasons at Canisius College. The St. Clair Shores, Michigan native appeared in 113 games with the Golden Griffins and was a part of their 2016-17 Atlantic Hockey Association regular-season championship team. 

Jaeckle played junior hockey in the North American Hockey League with the Johnstown Tomahawks, where he spent two seasons. During his time in the NAHL, the 6-foot-3, 190 pounder racked up 82 games played and 21 points (8 goals, 13 assists).
