Sturtz joins Rush

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Rush, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Arizona Coyotes, announced that forward Andrew Sturtz has signed with the team.

Sturtz enters his third season as a professional after splitting last campaign in the American Hockey League and ECHL. He earned a two points (1g-1a) in 14 games with the AHL’s Belleville Senators, and added six points (2g-4a) in 11 ECHL games with Brampton and Maine.

Prior to turning pro, he played three seasons of college hockey at Penn State University, where he posted 104 points (54go-50a) in 111 games. With the Nittany Lions, he helped the team win the 2017 Big Ten cChampionship, and earned Big Ten Honorable Mention All-Star Team honors in 2018.
