Rookie Marleau signs with Oilers

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Oilers, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Anaheim Ducks, announced the signing of forward and Memorial Cup champion Vincent Marleau.

Marleau,21joins Tulsa after spening the last four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with Rouyn-Noranda, compiling 114 points (45g-69a) and 128 penalty minutes in 194 games with the Huskies.

The St-Michel, Quebec native was instrumental in Rouyn-Noranda winning its first Memorial Cup title in 2018-19. Marleau posted eight points (3g-5a) and a +10 rating in 20 playoff games that season. Marleau also scored the fourth and final goal against Halifax to claim the most-coveted trophy in Major Junior hockey.
