Allard makes NHL debut

Former Norfolk Admrials' defenseman Frederic Allard became the 690th former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Nashville Predators at Tampa Bay on Sunday.

Allard is the 12th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2020-21 season. He posted two penalty minutes in three games with the Admirals during the 2017-18 season.

A third-round selection (78th overall) of the Predators in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, Allard has tallied 82 points (15g-67a) in 188 career American Hockey League games with Chicago and Milwaukee.
