Prosvetov makes NHL debut

Prosvetov makes NHL debut

Former Rapid City Rush goaltender Ivan Prosvetov became the 693rd former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Arizona Coyotes at Colorado on Wednesday.

Prosvetov is the 15th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2020-21 season. He appeared in five games with the Rush in 2019-20 going 4-1-0 with one shutout, a 2.40 goals-against average and a save percentage of .930.

A fourth-round selection (114th overall) by the Coyotes in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, Prosvetov has seen action in 35 career games with Tucson of the American Hockey League where he is 19-13-1 with one shutout, a 2.97 goals-against average and a save percentage of .909.
