Rymsha makes NHL debut

Former Manchester Monarchs and For Wayne Komets' forward Drake Rymsha became the 698th former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Los Angeles Kings at Colorado on Thursday.

Rymsha is the 20th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2020-21 season. He posted 13 points (8g-5a) in 35 games with Manchester in 2018-19 and added 17 points (9g-8a) in 24 games with Fort Wayne in 2019-20.

A fifth-round selection (138th overall) of the Kings in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Rymsha has posted five points (1g-4a) in 38 career games with Ontario of the American Hockey League.
