Ingram makes NHL debut

Former Adirondack Thunder and Orlando Solar Bears' goaltender Connor Ingram became the 703rd former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Nashville Predators on Sunday at Minnesota.

Ingram is the fifth former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2021-22 season. He went 2-0-1 with a 1.30 goals-against average and a save percentage of .960 in three appearances with the Thunder in 2017-18 before seeing action in 13 games with the Solar Beras in 2018-19 where he posted an 8-2-0 record with one shutout, a 2.81 goals-against average and a save percentage of .914.

A third-round selection (88th overall) of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, Ingram has appeared in 95 career American Hockey League games with Syracuse, Milwaukee and Chicago with an overall record of 56-26-8 with 12 shutouts, a 2.23 goals-against average and a save percentage of .922.
