Husso is Bellevue University/ECHL Alumnus of the Month

Former Kansas City Mavericks’ goaltender Ville Husso of the St. Louis Blues is the Bellevue University ECHL Alumnus of the Month for February.

The 27-year-old went 4-0-1 in five appearances during the month with a 2.39 goals-against average and a save percentage of .915. He made at least 27 saves three times, including back-to-back games of 34 saves on Feb. 19 at Toronto and 35 saves on Feb. 25 against Buffalo. In 20 games with St. Louis this season, Husso is 13-3-2 with a two shutouts, a 2.03 goals-against average and a save percentage of .905.

Selected by the Blues in the fourth round (94th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, Husso appeared in 13 games with the Mavericks in the 2016-17 season going 4-4-2 with a 3.23 goals-against average and a save percentage of .910.

Husso has seen action in 37 career games for the Blues with an overall record of 22-9-3 with three shutouts, a 2.55 goals-against average and a save percentage of .917.
