Pachal makes NHL debut

Former Fort Wayne Komets' defenseman Brayden Pachal became the 721st former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday at Winnipeg.

Pachal is the 23rd former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2021-22 season. He posted two assists in four games with the Komets during the 2019-20 season.

A native of Estevan, Saskatchewan, Pachal has totaled 25 points (4g-21a) in 119 career American Hockey League games with Chicago and Henderson.
