Betts returns to Grizzlies

West Valley City, Utah – The Utah Grizzlies, ECHL affiliate of the 2022 Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche, are bringing back forward Kyle Betts for the 2022-23 season.

Betts appeared in five regular-season games with the Grizzlies last season, notching two points (1g-1a). He added 10 points (5g-5a) in 18 postseason contests.

The 24-year-old played at Cornell University from 2017-22, and last season, was named Seconnd Team All-Ivy League after recording 18 points (6g-12a) in 32 games. In 2021 he was named the ECAC Hockey Student-Athlete of the Year.
