Skelly joins Americans

ALLEN, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators and American Hockey League's Belleville Senators, announced the signing of defenseman Dalton Skelly to a contract for the 2022-23 season.

Skelly joins the Americans after playing the last season with Wichita where he recorded 11 points (3g-8a) in 51 games. He also skated in six games with Huntsville of the Southern Professional Hockey League last season, picking up five assists.

The 27-year-old posted 13 points (3g-10a) in 31 SPHL games with Huntsville and Knoxville during the 2020-21 season.

Prior to turning pro, Skelly had 34 points (5g-29a) in 117 career college games at Holy Cross.
