INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel announced that they have re-signed defenseman Keoni Texeira to a contract for the 2022-23 season.
Texeira, 25, returns for his fourth complete season with the Fuel. He has skated in 173 games for Indy, the third most in team history, totaling 82 points (15g-67a) and 139 penalty minutes over that time. He currently sits in third place in team history for assists and seventh place for points. Texeira was named Fuel captain during the 2021-22 season.
Prior to joining the Fuel, Texeira played the 2018-19 season for the Wichita Thunder where he recorded 45 points (7g-39a) in 70 games.
