Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators and American Hockey League's Belleville Senators, announced the signing of forward Chad Butcher for the 2023-24 season.
Butcher returns for a fourth season in Allen. His best numbers with the Americans came two seasons ago when he tallied 34 points (10g-24a) in 34 games.
In addition to his time with the Americans, he played parts of two seasons in Europe. Last season, before rejoining Allen in December, he played 12 games with the Belfast Giants of the Elite Ice Hockey League.
Prior to turning pro, Butcher played five full seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Medicine Hat Tigers.
