MacDonald re-signs with K-Wings

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that forward Ayden MacDonald has signed a contract for the 2023-24 season.

MacDonald, 26, recorded 24 points (7g-17a) and 51 penalty minutes in 59 games last season wtih the K-Wings and Greenville. He was acquired by Kalamazoo in a trade last March.

The Langley, British Columbia native enters his third professional season after playing just over three years at Brock University from 2017-21 where he had 59 points (24g-35a) in 89 career games. As a rookie with the Swamp Rabbits in 2021-22, MacDonald tallied 33 points (20g-13a).
