K-Wings bring back Morgan

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that forward Luke Morgan signed a contract for the 2023-24 season. 

Morgan, 26, is entering his second professional season. He was acquired by Kalamazoo in a trade with the Kansas City Mavericks last February and combined for 27 points (9g-18a) in 48 games between the two clubs.

The University of Michigan product played four seasons for the Wolverines from 2017-22 after beginning his collegiate career at Lake Superior State University in 2016-17. Morgan totaled 66 points (23g-43a) in 173 career collegiate games.
