Nearly 400 Representatives attend ECHL Meetings presented by FEVO

A record attendance of nearly 400 attendees from ECHL teams, including several owners, presidents and general managers, as well as representatives from the National Hockey League, SPHL, United States Hockey League, North American Hockey League and Ontario Hockey League, participated in the 2025 ECHL Hockey Summer Meetings presented by FEVO at the Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida from June 24-26.

ECHL Commissioner Ryan Crelin kicked off the event with the annual “State of the ECHL” address and continued with a presentation focused on communication and customer experience. Keynote speakers were Louie Gravance, formerly of Disney, who spoke on crafting WOW service and Toni Will, General Manager/Governor of the Kalamazoo Wings, who led a session on scaling growth.

The Meetings also featured ECHL Team attendees serving as moderators for the breakout sessions.

For the 20th year in a row, AMI Graphics, the “Exclusive Signage Company of the ECHL”, awarded a complete set of dasher board and under-ice graphics to an attending team, which was won by the Trois-Rivières Lions for the 2025-26 season.

The annual Welcome Reception and Vendors’ Showcase, presented by Prolific 1, highlighted over 30 companies and provided an opportunity for teams to view products from League vendors and licensees, while MAVRX Sports Housing presented the Women in Sports Networking Event.
 
About the ECHL
 
Formed in 1988-89 with five teams in four states, the ECHL has grown into a coast-to-coast league with 29 teams in 22 states and one Canadian province for its 37th season in 2024-25. There have been 768 players who have gone on to play in the National Hockey League after starting their careers in the ECHL, including 16 who have made their NHL debuts in the 2024-25 season. The ECHL has affiliations with 29 of the 32 NHL teams in 2024-25, marking the 27th consecutive season that the league has affiliations with at least 20 teams in the NHL.
