Evans re-signs with Bison

Bloomington, Ill. - The Bloomington Bison announced that the team has signed forward Jonny Evans to a contract for the 2025-26 season.

Evans, 28, was named alternate captain on Oct. 17, 2024 and went on to post 11 points (2g-9a) in 30 games. 

The Delta, British Columbia native played the previous three seasons with the South Carolina Stingrays, amassing 88 points (34g-54a) in 105 ECHL games. His 45 points in the 2023-24 season ranked fourth on the team.

Prior to turning pro, Evans played four seasons at the University of Connecticut totaling 79 points (37g-42a) in 106 collegiate games.
